Fosse Systems is a small bench in Leicester building machines one at a time. No production line, no upsell script, and no part in a build that we could not justify to your face.
Why we started
Too many people weresold the wrong machine.
The pattern was always the same. Someone would come in with a computer bought online, a huge graphics card starved by a weak processor, sixteen pounds of cooling in a case with no airflow, and a power supply nobody would put their name to. It ran hot, it ran loud, and it was already at its limit on the day it arrived.
None of that happens by accident. It happens because the parts that photograph well are the parts that get the money, and the parts that keep a machine alive are the ones quietly cut back. We started Fosse to build the other way round.
The result is not glamorous. It is a machine that is quiet in year three, that takes one new graphics card and carries on, and that you can open up yourself without finding a nest of cable ties.
